Michael Manchak, President & CEO

Currently President and CEO of the Economic Vitality Corporation, a regional economic development organization. Manchak previously served as the project manager for Cal Poly's California Central Coast Research Partnership; Vice President of Business Development at ATW Alternative Technologies, Inc.; Managing Partner of Terranalysis Corporation; and Construction Finance Analyst for Chase Manhattan Corporation.  

Manchak serves on the following Boards:

·         California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED)

·         Central Coast Software & Technology Association (SOFTEC)

·         Workforce Investment Board of San Luis Obispo County

·         Cal Poly's Orfalea College of Business, Community Advisory Council

·         Cal Poly’s College of Engineering, Dean’s Advisory Council

·         Rabobank Regional President Advisory Council

·         Cuesta College Business Advisory Committee

·         Paso Robles Economic Task Force

·         UCSB Economic Forecast Project

·         Formerly Vice-Chair of the California Space Authority

He has a business degree from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.

Dave Mooklar, Loan Admin

Dave Mooklar is a retired banking executive with over thirty years of experience in direct small business lending. His responsibilities were in the retail and wholesale portion of the bank and included business development and loan portfolio management. The last ten years of his banking career was spent as the Manager of the First Interstate Bank in San Luis Obispo.

June Parent, Program

Originally from Seattle, Washington, June moved to the Central Coast in 2007.  She comes to the EVC transitioning out of biomedical research compliance and regulatory work and bringing with her an array of constructive management skills, analytical talent, and a tenaciously curious mind. She attended the University of Washington and has recently transfered to the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco where she is working on a new degree, Bachelors of Fine Arts in Multimedia Communications and Graphic Design.
