Help Secure Our Economic Vitality

What We Do

Here at the EVC, we work to stimulate the economic vitality of San Luis Obispo County, generate jobs, increase investment in the community and promote the start-up, growth and attraction of businesses.

We have provided economic development services, business services, and business resources, throughout San Luis Obispo County since 1994. As a local non-profit organization, the EVC is funded by both private and public sponsors who support our mission to help start and grow businesses on the Central Coast for a more vital economy and balanced community.

Working Today for a Prosperous Tomorrow

We work hard to develop a vibrant and sustainable economy for everyone in San Luis Obispo County. Here at the EVC, we work with businesses and local government to help start and grow businesses by providing critical resources and strategic planning for the region, to create jobs and a more balanced community long-term.

Our communities and businesses will benefit from our endowment fund, which distributes its earnings to help our local economy. Endowments are timeless and are managed to have lasting benefits. So an investment today will ensure a prosperous economic future for all of us tomorrow.
