Central Coast Capital Network

In a continued effort to grow the network of local entrepreneurs and investors in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara counties, the EVC has created the Central Coast Capital Network. It will allow local entrepreneurs to access capital from venture capitalists and angel investors, as well as investors to find local companies to invest in.
The EVC is offering workshops and a seminar in early 2008. Our Venture Capital Event will be held on March, 18, 2008.

The 2008 EVC Venture Capital Event is the only event of its kind in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County. By spring boarding off the success of the EVC's 2007 event, it will bring together entrepreneurs, angel investors, and venture capitalists for an evening of networking, deal flow, and education.

The event will showcase selected start-up companies searching for capital, and will be capped off by a fast pitch competition where eight local entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to pitch their business to a panel of investors with audience participation.

Submission and Deadline
Entrepreneurs wishing to present or showcase at the event should submit an electronic executive summary not to exceed three pages in length.
Please Note: Full business plans and confidential information will not be accepted.

Deadline: The deadline for acceptance of executive summaries is by the end of day - Friday February 29, 2008.
After screening by a selection committee, applicants will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis.
